Advance Care Planning (ACP): ACP provides the opportunity for adults to share their beliefs, values and wishes for health care decisions with their close family/friend(s) and health care provider in advance of a time when they may be incapable of deciding for themselves.
Counselling at Kamloops Hospice: Offer individual or group counselling grief support to those in the greater Kamloops community who are experiencing grief & loss due to a death or a life-threatening illness. Child, youth, family and adult grief supports are offered.
Casual Comfort Day Program: The day program is offered to clients who are living at home with a life-threatening illness (excluding Dementia) and who may be experiencing the daily challenges of their diagnosis, treatment and social isolation that arise from their illness. Program runs 10 am-1:30 pm at Hospice Home. Programs offered Discussion Groups, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Crafts, Reading Group, Geneology, Complementary Therapies (Reflexology/Reiki Massage), Psychological Support and Educational Workshops.
